By accessing our website or participating in our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or participate in our programs.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website, making a donation, or enrolling in any SACYFEA program or event, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the parent/legal guardian of a minor participant), have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. These Terms apply to all visitors, donors, program participants, parents/guardians, volunteers, sponsors, and partners.
2. About SACYFEA
Helping Hands Community Mission DBA Sacramento Youth Financial Empowerment Academy (SACYFEA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Sacramento youth with financial knowledge, entrepreneurial skills, and leadership confidence. Our programs, workshops, and events are designed for youth ages 13–17 in the Sacramento area.
SACYFEA operates as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our EIN is available upon request. Donations to SACYFEA may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
3. Program Participation
Eligibility
SACYFEA programs are designed for youth ages 13–17 residing in or near Sacramento, California. Enrollment is subject to availability and program capacity. SACYFEA reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion.
Parental/Guardian Consent
All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete the enrollment or registration process on their behalf. By submitting an enrollment or registration form, the parent/guardian consents to their child's participation in SACYFEA programs and acknowledges these Terms.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to treat fellow participants, instructors, volunteers, and staff with respect. Behavior that is disruptive, disrespectful, threatening, or harmful will not be tolerated. SACYFEA reserves the right to remove any participant from a program or event for conduct violations, without refund of any fees paid.
Photography and Media
By enrolling in a program or attending an event, you (and, for minors, your parent/guardian) grant SACYFEA permission to photograph, video record, and use images or footage of participants for educational, promotional, and fundraising purposes, including on our website and social media channels. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us in writing prior to the event.
4. Donations
General Donation Terms
All donations made to SACYFEA are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Donations are processed securely through Stripe. By making a donation, you authorize SACYFEA to charge the specified amount to your payment method.
Recurring Donations
If you select a monthly recurring donation, you authorize SACYFEA to charge your payment method on a monthly basis until you cancel. You may cancel your recurring donation at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or (833) 868-2331. Cancellation requests will be processed within 5 business days.
Tax Deductibility
SACYFEA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by applicable law. You will receive a donation receipt via email for your records. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contribution.
Use of Donations
All donations are used to support SACYFEA's mission of empowering Sacramento youth with financial education and entrepreneurial skills. SACYFEA reserves the right to allocate donations to the areas of greatest organizational need unless a donor specifies a restricted purpose in writing and SACYFEA accepts such restriction.
5. Website Use
Permitted Use
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use our website in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation; to transmit unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material; to impersonate any person or entity; or to engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the website.

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, and software — is the property of SACYFEA or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. 9. Volunteer and Partner Terms
Volunteers and organizational partners who work with SACYFEA agree to uphold our mission, values, and code of conduct. Volunteers working directly with youth participants may be required to complete a background check prior to participation. SACYFEA reserves the right to decline or terminate any volunteer or partnership relationship at its discretion.
Sponsors and partners who provide financial support or in-kind contributions acknowledge that SACYFEA retains full editorial and programmatic independence. Sponsorship does not imply endorsement of the sponsor's products or services by SACYFEA.
